Energetic Healing

Energetic Healing

Everything has an electrical frequency that can be measured, including you. And when your out of balance your body will continue to try to get back to its normal homeostasis frequency to help heal itself. There are several ways to help our body’s journey back to its energetic balance. Some of the ones that I use are Reiki, The Bars, Essential Oils, and Crystals.

Reiki
Reiki is a healing process where the energy is transferred through the practitioner’s hands to restore health and a a sense of well-being. Reiki energizes and re-aligns the chakras and subtle energy fields of the body. Since we are made up of energy we also have the ability to “lay hands” on ourselves or others to magnetically bring in healing energy for balance. (Reiki Level 1, Cossette)

The Bars
The Bars are 32 bars of energy that run through and around your head that connect to different aspects of your life. We call all of the points you touch when using this modality “The Bars.” The Bars store the electromagnetic component of all the thoughts, ideas, attitudes, decisions and beliefs that you have ever had about anything.
There are Bars for healing, body, control, awareness, creativity, power, aging, sex and money; 32 different Bars in all. Each Bar corresponds with that aspect or area of your life that it is named. Touch one Bar and you begin to clear away the energy locked up in that area or aspect of your life just by touching it. (http://www.bars.accessconsciousness.com/index.asp)

Essential Oils
Essential oils are one of mankind’s first medicines and are used all over the world. It’s very important that when integrating oils into your lifestyle to use therapeutic grade oils. The electrical energy of the body can be measured in MHz. The body, when in balance, will have a frequency between 62-68 MHz. Essential oils will have a frequency between 52-320 MHz. Clinical research has shown that essential oils can quickly raise the frequency of the human body, restoring it to its normal health level. (C&A Higley)

Crystal Healing
Crystals are gifts from the earth and have a long tradition of being used for healing. Each variety of crystal has a unique internal structure, which causes it to resonate at a certain frequency. It is this resonance that is said to give crystals their healing abilities. Applying this resonance in a coherent way can help to restore stability and balance to the bodies energy systems, stimulating the body’s natural healing mechanisms.
Crystal therapy is a gentle non-invasive form of alternative healing that works holistically to harmonize the mind, body, emotions and spirit, helping to increase our feeling of well-being, neutralize negativity, lift depression and to help us to become integrated, whole beings. What is Lymph Drainage

Can there be a 1 without a 2? The next question that is most asked of me is why does my body need a lymphatic massage? Well let me do a brief explanation of what your lymph system is. Don’t worry, as a Certified Lymphedema Therapist, I still explain how and why my treatment works to the doctors I work with. So the lymph system in it’s simplest form is the garbage and immune system of the body. See that was simple. The complicated part comes when explaining why you want me to do this to you because this treatment can work on almost anything for anyone. So depending on the results of an evaluation is when I am able to describe the very specific reasons as to how this can help with your symptoms.

The main reason my client seek this treatment out is because they suffer from an accumulation of fluid, swelling, that does not go way with elevation. These clients will have a body part that is considerable bigger than the their other side. With these client manual lymph drainage and the proper external compression is the main course of treatment.
However, then there is swelling after an injury, surgery, or to a joint from repetitive use. This is the main population of client that I use this technique on. They have inflammation that causes them pain, some where in the body, and the use of ice and anti-inflammatory meds are not helping. What happens is the body naturally wants to send fluid to cushion the injured area to help protect it, but without proper alignment and joint stability the person continues to re-injure the area. This causes the inflammation cycle to keep repeating itself. During my treatments, I manually decrease the accumulated fluid and educate the client on how to move and strengthen the surrounding muscles to prevent a reoccurrence.
For a person who had surgery and they have adhesions from the scar, this is a wonderful way to decrease that restricted tissue. So let me explain this a little better. After a surgery and healing has occurred, the surgeon wants the tissue around the scar to be mobile. Otherwise the adhered tissue can cause more pain and mobility limitations. The lymph techniques can increase the fluidity of this tissue allowing the scar to move and eliminating the chance of restricted tissue.
Then there are my clients that are very health conscious and want to have lymph drainage to aid in detoxing their body. During this treatment focus I assess each organ to ensure fluidity and make sure that all of the major lymph pathways are not congested. This is a full body treatment and can take awhile, but these clients appreciate it when in conjunction with their healthy lifestyle.
